Can I rotate the text label on a line?

If I draw a line with the line tool in Visio 2003, I can double click the
line and add a text label to it.

However, this text label runs parallel with the line. Is there any way to
rotate the label so it is perpendicular?

In other words, this is what I get:

But this is what I want:

Can anyone help me out?
