Can I Save Information on a Disk that claims now cannot read out of permimeter?

I have a disk which the computer tells me it cannot read as the paramiters are wrong
me that it cannot pick up anything. It also states that it is not formatted and yet I used this
before many times. I do not know what I did or if I can save anything??

If you're talking about a floppy disk, don't even think of saving a Word
document directly to it. Ever. Save the document to your hard disk then use
Explorer to copy to the floppy.

If Windows is reporting errors on a floppy disk, throw it away. Every floppy
corrupts eventually, and while they *can* recover if you re-format, why take
the risk?
