Sort of. The *best* way to do this is with a dedicated screen capture
utility such as SnagIt (www.techsmith.com), which will allow you to either
select a portion of text and save it in graphic format or "print" to the
SnagIt printer and save the result in a graphic format.
Failing that, however, you can select text, copy it, paste special as a
picture, and then follow the directions at
http://www.gmayor.com/extract_images_from_word.htm to extract it as a JPEG
or GIF (Word's choice, not yours).
