Can I send email from A2K?

Hello,
I want A2K to send Email to a sales person base on a query return. Say, when
the query returns a ship date that is two days away from today. I want to
send the sales person an email saying the salse order XXXXX will be shipped
in two days. Can I do that in VBA.

Thank you for your pointer.
It works, but have a problem. I am using OE as my email program and checked
"Warnign when other programs using my email address to send mail". So, when
A2K sends email in VBA, a warning window pops up and ask if I want to send
it. Can I use VAB codes to turn off this OE warning (Un-check that security
box), then send mail and then turn it back on? So that my Access can run
without intervention.

I jolly well hope not. I get enough garbage from people who switch off
their protection in the first place, without making it easy for the trojans
to do it for them...
