Can I set a printmacro in InfoPath to print several views at once.

I am using InfoPath 2003 and have created a form with several pages, each of
which has it's own view and can therefore be printed individually. I want to
add an option to enable all, or selected views, to be printed. It seems the
best option is to use a button but I am not familiar with the scripting
language - my macro writing is limited to using MS Access where you can
select commands and it does all of the scripting for you!

Your best bet is to create a master view by pasting in the other views you
want. This won't allow you to pick particular views, but you can set up the
master view at design time. You can start by creating a new view, and
setting it as the print view from the other view's View Properties dialog.

There isn't any way to select a number of views and print them by using
InfoPath script.

Thanks Brian - the problems is that I only set up the views in the first
place because there does not seem to be a way to enter page breaks. I have a
master view which displays the entire form but as many of the fields are rtf
I cannot control where the page will end, otherthan by separate page views
(or by adding/deleting lines & previewing which takes even longer)!

You're right, as the form grows page breaks can start to occur at places
where you'd rather they didn't. You can set hard page breaks at design time
(Insert->Page Break) which should give you the same effect as the break
caused by separate views.

I could not see any way of setting a page break - I searched through the help
but could not find any reference. It is not in the "insert" menu - am I
missing something?
Thanks

Have you upgraded to Office 2003 Service Pack 1? Many, many features were
expanded as part of that release for InfoPath. If you have, make sure that
Service Pack features are not turned off in your Tools-Options settings.

I tried to upgrade InfoPath to Service Pack 1; the Microsoft site directed me
to the "check available updates" section but I got an error message saying it
could access updates and suggesting I did not have administrator privileges
(which I do).
I contacted Microsoft for advice but have not received a response (about 3-4
days). I'm still receiving automatic updates and have upgraded Windows to SP2
without difficulty so have no idea why I cannot access the Office SP's!

Thanks again

I found an easier way to do this....
I created a repeating section, and put a table within the repeating section.
Then put a optional section under the table, or what ever your using. Put a
page break in the optional section.. Then let the user create and delete the
section. So when all is said and done you can add a page break anywhere you
want, after any section.

Hi thanks for your reply but I can't work out how to actually set the page
break! ..... most other programmes have a nice easy menu option but not this
one!!
