Can I set up aliases in Outlook - similar to AOL

I need to set up a different alias in Outlook so that the message appears to
be coming from our newsletter name, rather than the name of the individual
employee. Can I do this and if so, how?

Yes, you can configure a separate account for this. Disable the receiving of
items for this account in Tools-> Options-> tab Mail Setup-> button
Send/Receive-> button Edit

I set up a different profile, but when it came time to add the user name and
password, I put in the person who would be using it, thinking that the name
of the profile would be what's carried forward in the display area. It isn't.
When I went into the SBS administration and tried to change the display name
for that new profile, that profile didn't even show up.

Sorry to be a PITA, but could you give me a step by setp on setting up the
alias, or profile? I'm not even sure which is what I'll need to send out
under the newsletter name.

Don't use a different profile. Use a different account in the same profile.

You first: what version of Outlook?
