can i set up an email reminder to be sent to outlook from access?

I am using Microsoft Access as a sales contact management resource. Is there
a function in Access that allows me to set up automatic emails to be sent
from Access to my Outlook account to remind me to follow up with a particular
contact on a certain date..etc?
