Can I sort my email by date AND format those w/the same subject

I would like to be able to sort by date but as i go through the email lists
one by one i would like the email bold or red if it has other replies later
on so i know i need to resort by subject to get the other related messages
(withouth having to sort by date and then resort by subject on every message
to see if there were other replies)
