Can I update microsoft office version 97/98 to 2000 using downloads

Hello,

I need help desperately, I am taking a microcomputer course
and I have version 97/98 which for the most part is serving
me well but I had to create a table for the word section
and my table menu does not have a table properties option.
What can I do.

Hi Lois,

The table properties dialog was added in Word 2000.
While it added a couple of new features, such as
table wrapping without putting the Table in a frame/textbox
it generally was a consolidation of Table menu and
submenu items into a single dialog. You'll find most
of them in the Table dialog or the Tables toolbar.

The main feature you won't find is the use of Table
styles, added in Word 2002.
