can I upgrade from Office XP Home Edition to Office 2003 Professi.

I want to upgrade my computer from Office XP Home Edition to Office 2003
Professional.
I bought an upgrade so I am not sure if it is going to work since the one
that is installed in my computer is Standard Edition and the upgrade I bought
is Professional Edition. Can I do that? Do I need to uninstall Office XP
first?

Yes, Office XP Standard is a qualifying product for upgrade to Office
2003 Professional. See

Oops... forgot your second question. You don't have to uninstall Office
XP first. When you insert the Office 2003 CD, the installer will see
your existing Office version and prompt you to keep your existing
version or delete it, and will automatically delete Office XP if that's
what you tell the installer to do.
