I am trying to upload an mp3 file into my frontpage based website. Is this

it only gives me the option to use wav files.

I was trying to do the same for my webpage. I finally found help from Rick
who posted this on this site. "fp does indeed support mp3 files for
background sound. you
have to manually type in the name of the file. i'm not
sure why everyone thinks the files need to be imported
into a web. i just go to windows explorer and drag them
over to a directory in the web. seems to work ok."
It worked for me! Thanks Rick!!!

Drag and drop them into the current open web is the same as using the Import Command.

What is not correct is using Windows Explorer to place files directly into the folder holding the
web content outside of FP. Doing this can lead to issues where FP is not aware that the content of
the web has changed, so files may not get published, etc.

dragging the file into the directory is the same action as File > Import.
