Can I use a password to lock/hide my contacts in outlook?

I would like to be able to password protect my contacts or outlook is that
possible. I am sync to my pocket pc at work and would like to keep some
addresses seperated or at least hidden.

I could hide some private records w/ palm software, but can not find this
option with outlook.

I don't know of any way to password protect your contacts but you can put a
password on your Outlook Profile. It varies slightly depending on what
version of Outlook you are using so I would need to know the version to
give you steps. If your contacts are shared on an Exchange server and you
don't want other people to see certain contacts when accessing your
contacts folder then when you open a contact there is a "Private" box on
the lower right corner of every contact that would keep people that are
viewing your Contacts remotely from seeing the contact.

I hope this information was helpful.
