MS SQL and Access are the only products for which InfoPath can use ODBC. Web
Services are exposed by Oracle and a number of other products, and InfoPath
can consume those web services directly.
But how about I use some open source Database like MySQL
and Sybase? I want to use InfoPath as a front end
terminal and the MySQL or Sybase database as a back end
server. I really like InfoPath but it is not worth to
spend much money on MS SQL because I have only few people
to use it and Access is not efficient enough to handle
the data. I need the help!!!! Thanks
