Can I use onenote as Access program

I am trying to create an data base file for cross-referencing purposes, and
find Excel is not suitable. Can you help?
I am running Vista home premium O/S with Office Home and Student 2007 Apps

OneNote really isn't a database, per se. It's for collecting unstructured
data.

What kind of "cross-referencing purposes" are you talking about? If you're
more specific about what you're trying to achieve we might have better
suggestions for you.
