Can I use the journal as a personal diary?

Can I use the journal in Office 2003 as a pesonal diary to write things in
and keep. If so how would I do this as I just can't figure it out??

The name Journal here is a misnomer - its function is to keep a record of
emails, phone calls, meetings etc associated with a particular contact, not
as a day-to-day written record of your doings....

Thank you for the fast reply.....I did wonder why I couldn't work it out. Oh
well at least I won't waste any more time trying. LOL. Thanks again, have

There is certainly no reason the Journal cannot be used as a personal, daily diary. Just create one or more entries for each day.
