Can I use Virtual PC on my G5 to use MS Project?

I have the latest MS Office on my MAC G% and am so wanting to be able to use
Project. I just recieved Vistual PC and am a little blown away by the
complexity of the instructions on loading. Will using Virtual PC allow me to
use MS Project? And also are there any big issues that MAC users are having
with Virtual PC?

Yes, you will be able to use it since the VirtualPC will have Windows
installed on it. The instructions seem pretty hardcore but it is really
not too bad. There should be a wizard for creating a new 'machine' then
put your Windows CD in your machine and start the Virtual machine. It
should boot right to the cd. At least that is how it works on the PC.
Macs might be different. Then once the OS is installed it is smooth
sailing.

There are newsgroups for Virtual PC as well so they might help you out
with the rough spots. :)

Good Luck

This is probably answered, but I use Project 2000 in a Wine session (using
Crossover Office) for my Linux machine. Probably should work using a
Virtual PC under your system.

I am using MS Project 2003 on VPC with a Win XP virtual machine. It is a
little slow, but useable. There seem to be some things that call for MS
Office for the PC, but nothing that I can't work around.

Add some RAM and it speeds right up. I have a gig and it is almost as
fast as a regular machine.

I have 2 GB (the max I can put on my iMac G5). I have allocated 256 MB to
VPC. For some reason the PC info window says that there are 64 MB of hard
ram and 100 of available ram! Go figure!
