Is is possible to use the Outlook Contacts view to display a list of contacts
from a SQL database without actually copying the data onto the Exchange
server or the user's local folders. (As this would require re-synchronizing
tens
of thousands of rows on a continuous basis.) I would just like to create a
connection directly to the database from the Outlook front end. All of the
examples
that I have seen so far show how to copy the contacts or view Exchange data
from within other (db) tools. I don't want to do either of these. I just
want to use
the Outlook front end as the interface to the database directly. Is this
possible?
