Can MDW file be read only ?

We just find that the MDW File is being deleted by user
accidentially. We would like to know whether it is
possible for us to set the MDW (Workgroup Information
File) to be Read Only ?

We just wonder whether users will change the MDW file when
they login to the database. If it cannot be made Read
Only, is there any other suggestion ?

If it is set to read only, they won't be able to change their passwords.

You could put the mdw (and the database as well - don't they ever delete it
accidentally?) in a hidden share, so that it's not so easy to find and
delete. It can still be found, but if they are making that effort, then
there is no 'accidentally' about it.
