Can MS Access Import data into an existing table

Yes, see TransferSpreadsheet in Help file. Can do via a macro or VBA
programming.

Also, File | Get External Data | Import menu can be used, but it "uses"
EXCEL 95 file format (less than 17000 lines per spreadsheet, won't import
data longer than 255 characters in one cell, etc.).

I have a table in MS Access and I am wondering, is it possible to import
excel data(say same format) into that table? instead of retyping all data
again into that table?

Can this be done?
