Can MS Project send email alerts regarding milestones?

I want to have MS Project send me and others automatic alerts regarding
milestones. How do I set that up?

Project Standard requires the Project 2003 Workgroup Message Handler to be
downloaded and installed before you can get any notifcations through email

I dont know what information you want reporting on so this may not be the
way forward ....
