Can multiple people in the same company use their own digital-cer.

I am researching using digital certificates and MS word.

Can a company have multiple digital signatures from Verisign in order for
separate users to digitally sign a MS Word document? (MS Word XP or Higher)

Does it make sense to go to Verisign to get a digital certificate for
specific users within the same company?

Well, as Rick says elsewhere in this thread, this isn't a Word newsgroup.
However, with the release of Office 2003, digital certificates have become
an issue for Access developers too. If all your users log into the same
Windows Server 2000 or 2003 domain, I understand that it is possible to use
a Windows Server service called Certificate Services to create a certificate
that will be valid across the domain. I can't help with the specifics, but
if you want to investigate further you could try a Windows Server newsgroup.

The spammers and script-kiddies have succeeded in making it impossible for
me to use a real e-mail address in public newsgroups. E-mail replies to
this post will be deleted without being read. Any e-mail claiming to be
from brenreyn at indigo dot ie that is not digitally signed by me with a
GlobalSign digital certificate is a forgery and should be deleted without
being read. Follow-up questions should in general be posted to the
newsgroup, but if you have a good reason to send me e-mail, you'll find
a useable e-mail address at the URL above.
