Can My Timesheet / My Tasks page in PWA 2007 display summary tasks

I want the timesheet and task sheet to display all the outline levels of
tasks ( including the summary tasks). How can I configure to display the
summary tasks?

View options could be changed to view summary tasks in PWA 2003. How do I do
it in PWA 2007

Sadly, in PWA 2007, this is not possible. The best your team members can do
is to click the name of a task to view the Assignment Details page. Near
the top of the page, they can see the path to the task in the project. This
is clumsy, at best, however. Hope this helps.

Thank you Dale!

Dale,

Do you have an estimated date on when Project 2007 will have this
functionality? I've seen several posts on several forums/blogs regarding the
need for this view.

No, I am not aware that Microsoft will even change this issue. If they
intend to change it, they have not said anything to me, or anyone else to
the best of my knowledge. Even though I am an MVP, they don't give me
insider information on what they are going to fix and when they will fix it.
Sorry I can't be of more help.

Dale,

How can I escalate this issue up to find out if MS is working to resolve the
issue in Project Server 2007. I've seen numerous posts in different forums so
the impact isn't small. I know with previous issues in other products MS
states that if enough people complain they will address it. I've escalated
SSIS issues before an was able to speak with developers for the 2005 and 2008
product to determine if it would be fixed in either. What is the escalation
process for Project Server issues?

This isn't a bug, so there is no escalation process as far as I know. You
might whip out your credit card and call Microsoft Support about it, on the
other hand, and then see what they can tell you if it is that important.
I'm not trying to minimize what you are saying, mind you; it is an annoying
lack of functionality that was included by default in Project Server 2003.
Hope this helps.
