Can new created or updated tasks be screened out?

Hi, there, we are using PS2007+PWA for daily tasks management which allows
all team members creation/update their own tasks through the PWA, and they
will be automaically accepted by predefined rules.
My question is: can the manager create a filter to automate finding out new
created or updated tasks in a date range? if can, what is the filtering
criteria to be defined in the filter to reach that result?
