Can no longer open Outlook: "Not responding"

Nicky Battle

Please please help me! I can no longer open Outlook. I
called my exchange server to see if there was a large
message causing outlook to hang (trying to download it).
That is not the problem. The last time this happened to me
was 3 years ago and I LOST EVERYTHING. i will pass out if
that happens to me again. I admit, I have way too many
messages. It is probably hanging b/c it has to work too
hard to download everything. Please let me know if anyone
can help me locate large msg files on my hard drive that I
can delete if possible. My main concern is that I am a
publicist and my contact database is my job. Please please
help me to get it back! Any advice?

All your previous mails and addresses etc, should still be
in the c:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\
folder. Make sure you keep these files, then if all else
failed you can import these files back into your Outlook on
new computer assuming the problems are not with your
data files.
