Can not access Project server 2007 from Microsoft Project 2007

This is just for sharing, as i just solved the problem

In microsoft project i linked directly to the server "http://projectserver"
instead of linking to the PWA site wich in my case was
"http://projectserver:1440/pwa".
****************************************************

I have Project server 2007 installed on a virtual machine located on my
laptop.

The virtual machine is signed on to the public domain, so it can access the
exchange server.

I have created a PWA and created my own user (from the AD) as an admin and
have no problem logging on the PWA site with this user.



However, when i try to connect to the project server from microsoft project
i get the following error:

Project was not able to connect to the Project Server because of the
following error:
The credentials you used to login may not be correct

* Check your user name/password. Try logging on to other network ressources
using your user name/password.
