Can Not Add Template From Microsoft Lessons

I have beeen trying to take some of the lessons offered by Microsoft. When I
get to the point that I have to "download practice session" I get the message
that there is a problem with the Microsoft server and to try again later. I
have been trying for several months now and can not get beyont this message.
For what its worth i get the same message for lessons in multiple
applicationssuch as excel, word, power point etc.

Check your firewall, is it allowing downloads?
Empty your temporary cache, in Internet Explorer, tools, Internet Options,
delete files.

Is the ActiveX component enabled? In Internet Explorer, tools, Manage Add-ons.
Look for Microsoft Office Control.

Hello Mary Thanks for you help. I am running Office Student and Teacher.
I found an item in One Note help called "Office Diagnostics" when i ran it
my problem was solved. So far it works with word and excel.

Mary Thanks for you help. I am running Office 2007 Student and Teacher. In
one Note (which looks like 2003 to me) there was an item in help called
"office diagnostics. After running it my problem has been solved. At least
as far as thelessons in Word and Excel are concerned. Thanks again.
