Can not Close Print Preview

Office 2003 SP2 - using Word 2003, I can print preview a document, but when I
click the CLOSE button to return to the document, Word hangs. I have to use
Task Manager to stop the application, restart Word and recover my document.

Any solutions or debugging ideas ?
