can not configure milestone

Hi All,

When I try to configure a milestone I am getting the following message:

Drag this Milestone marker to a Timeline shape and then choose Configure
Milestone

I have the milestone over the timeline but it does not recognize it.

When I copy the time line and move the milestone over my copied timeline all
is working well.

Is there any way I can get the original timeline to work?

Hi,

When you drop the shape on the page you can drop it anywhere on the drawing
for the 'configure milestone' window to appear
if it is the case that when you drop it from the stencil onto the drawing
and the configure window doesn't appear but the warning does then it sounds
like a corruption of the mastershape
because the only way for me to reproduce your problem is by disattaching the
milestone shape from the timeline shape
in this case I would try a repair or reinstall with nothing running at the
background or simply re-attach the milestone shapes to the timeline
The fact that the timeline shape doesn't recognize the milestone indicates
that some shaesheets cells are missing or corrupt.

what you could try as well is take the correct working timeline shape and
replace the original master with it

Thanks for your response, René.

Copying and pasting the defected timeline "fixed" the issue at hand. I was
just curious why a copy of the broken timeline actually worked and if there
was a trick to fix the broken one without copying and pasting it. But there
might not be a solution. Thanks again.
