Are these all folders you yourself created? Obviously the subfolders are. I
don't see where you've posted exactly what your clicking and in what window in
order to produce the error, or the exact text of the error you see.
Brian,
First off, I use Vista 64bit.
It doesn't matter which folder I try to remove or how I try to remove them,
I receive the same error(s). Some of these folders may be a single folder
off the root of the "Personal Folders" tree, or it may be a subfolder within
a folder. All of these folders are folders that "I" created.
I've tried "Right Clicking" on the folder selecting "Delete <folder name>".
I've tried selecting the folder and clicking the "X" on the tool bar. I've
tried selecting the folder and dragging it to the "Deleted Folder". I've
tried selecting the folder and pressing the "Delete" Key.
Most times I get "Cannot deleted this folder. Right-click the folder, and
then click Properties to check your permissions for the folder. See the
folder owner or your administrator to change your permissions. The folder is
full". Other times I simply get "The folder is full". It doesn't matter if
the folders are full or empty, I get the same errors. There are no
permissions to check, and I am the administrator for my machine. Also, I'm
using POP3, not exchange.
After this being said, I see this is not a new issue. I've found instances
of this going back to April 2008. And none of these have a resolution. At
first I though perhaps it was an update that might have caused this, but not
if this is an ongoing documented issue. However, my problem has only been
recent (within this past month).
If there are any suggestions, I would love to hear them.
Thanks.
Daryl
