can not disable WDS>_<

,but why it still warm me again and again ?

sure to rename the extension to .reg.

I really don't find this options in the "regedit", in
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\OneNote\Options\Other" I
only find the following:
-MeasurementUnit
-NavBarOnLeft
-NavigationBarExpColState
-PageTablsExpColState
-PageTabsOnLeft
-VertScrollBarOnLeft

I use WDS 02.06.5000.

What can I do to disable the reminder?

You need to create the new DWORD values called EnableWDSIndexing and
ShowWDSUpdateWarning (right-click on white space in the right hand of
the registry editor when you are at the indicated key, click new and
choose DWORD"; Other is a key, not a value). Set both values to 0.

If you want to enable fast search, you need to download WDS 3 Beta. I
want to warn you though that WDS 3 is currently without any UI, so if
you get it, you'll loose the ability to search your harddrive and will
only get fast search in OneNote and Outlook 2007.

I have had ON on my desktop pc and on a tablet. Searching flags and content
worked well on the desktop. It never worked on the tablet. I did many
reinstallations of WDS and ultimately, I uninstalled everything, including
OneNote and Office 2007, to try and start over. It didn't work either.

Finally, I added the registry entry EnableWDSIndexing and set it to 0. It
worked almost instantly. I have a lot of varied apps on the tablet and
suspect I have dll-Hell going on, whereas the desktop in my office is not
configured the same way.

If others have tried and ended up with no luck, I'd suggest using this
method, but backing up the registry first.
