Can not install updates or uninstall office.

I have tried everything I can thing ok, But I am having the same problem as
Jack Manger. It will not install updates, and then when I try to uninstall
office to do a fresh reinstall it tells me that the package is not there.
All office products work fine. What could the problem be? Am i looking over
somthing easy??

Hi Peter,
Try removing office using windows installer clean up utility and then
install it back.
Also remove office keys under HKLM>software>microsoft>office and
HKCU>software>microsoft>office rename the microsoft office and office update
11, office update 10 folder under c:\program files and reinstall office.
