Can not move to personal folder

I am using Office 2003. When I try to move, drag any email that is on the
Exchange server to my Personal folder nothing happens. At times it will
place a copy of the email in the Personal folder but the original message
remains on the server. And any same day messages will let me move them; but
if the message is older than 1 day to will not move. No error messages are
displayed. Setting have been checked. Also
