Hi, I have a strange question. I am using PS2007+PWA.

When click a project in PWA_Project Center to open its project details, it
is failed with a prompt message:
- "Project Center cannot access the project(s) you are trying to view. It is
most likely that you either don't have permissions to view the project,
another user has deleted this project(s) before you were able to view it or
that another user is in the process of publishing the project."

But actually,
1- I have full control on this project and can open this file in Ms-Project
Professinal through ICON in front of this project file name in PWA-PROJECT
CENTER or directly from Ms-Project Professional.
2- I checked queue, it shows me this project has been properly checked in
and all WSS / Check-In / Reporting.... are success.
3- Only this project has such problem, all others are working fine.

What's wrong? How can I solve this issue?

Thanks in advance,

JJin

Hi,Gary, thanks for your response. It isn't a large project. I am on PS2007
SP1. There is not many custom field. Anyway, I have solved this issue by
re-saved and re-published it as another project, new one is working fine now.
I am wondering whether this deal will bring any risk in?

Thanks in advance,

JJin

Gary,

I am experiencing the same problem as above. My file is about 7MB and uses
multiple custom fields. The really strange part is that it worked fine in
PWA when it was the only project in the environment, now there about about 12
projects (all smaller) but the two largest projects do not open in PWA, yet
open fine in Professional. Any words of wisdom?

Ryan:

Yours may or may not be the same problem. Install SP2 and see if that helps.
If not, start a new post and include your setup information and some
statistics on the number of custom task-level fields and the number of
assignments in these projects.
