can not open an excel file in new windows in .ppt file

Hi,
I have created a ppt file which will put in my web server
but I have problem on creating a link in ppt file which
onclick open an excel file in new browser.

I created the Link use Action Setting > Run program >
In the textbox --> C:\Program Files\Internet
Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE "the location of the file in
intranet"

I'm using Win2K & Office 2000 PC. It work fine on Win2K
and IE 6.0(my machine), but it not work on Win 98 and IE
5.5. Is it the OS, IE or Office version problem? or my
setting or code problem?

And one more thing is full screen mode not work on Win 98
and IE 5.5? Is Win 98 or Office 98 Powerpoint not support
full screen mode ppt file viewing in IE?
