Can not open .vfb file with ie

I am testing free/busy calendering options with outlook2002 running on XP SP2
and trying to open .vfb file with ie Version 6 SP2. I have configured the
free/busy calender following the instructions by microsoft on
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=291621

When I open the .vfb file, I get the following rubbish:

That's not rubbish at all. That's exactly the data that an .ifb file contains. It is not intended to be a human-readable file. The "How to Plan a Meeting" topic on the page you cited explains how Outlook uses the data to display free/busy information in a meeting request.

Ok, Im sorry. But my point is, I can not open it with the internet browser.
I'm I wrong in trying open in internet explorer?

Yes, you are wrong in trying to use IE to open the .vfb file. Did you read the topic I suggested?
