Can not pin office 2007 programs to start menu

I am running Vista Home Premium and none of the Office 2007 programs will run
when the "Pin to Start Menu" option is selected. They all work fine from the
Programs menu or the Quick Launch menu. All other programs seem to work fine
from any of the above.
