Can not save item in Outlook calendar

I am using Microsoft Office Professional 2003 on a recently purchased
computer. Every time I try to add an appointment to my calendar I get a
message saying "Could not save item". Is there more configuration I need to
do to the software to use the Calendar functions?

You should post your issue to the microsoft.public.outlook newsgroup. This
newsgroup supports the OneNote application. Make sure to include which
version of Outlook you're using and on which operating system.
