Dear All,

I found problem in one MS Project file.
In this file I can not see Work, Actual Work of tasks in Task Usage and
Resource Usage View. I don't know what wrong.

If I created new tasks; it's no problem.
I am using MS Project EPM 2003 SP3.

Please help, suggest.

Thank you.

Dear Dave,

No filter; we use "All Tasks".
If we create new tasks; no problem.
The problem are old tasks.
This seem like file crashed.

What about filters applied to columns in the left hand pane (or
presumably even columns that have been hidden)?

For the existing tasks, can you see actuals from the Gantt chart in the
Task Form part of the screen?

Do you mean the row is not visible or do you mean the row is visible and
contains no values?

If it is the first one, right click somehwere on the details column and
select a cvalue or detail styles. If you select detail styles you can then
add your variables on the next window.

To eliminate all filters deselect the auto filter icon by clicking it (the
drop down arrows at the top of each column disappear). Are you seeing all
tasks just not these values?

Dear Jim

I try to give you more detail.

The rows in "Task Usage View" are visible but for existing tasks it contain
no value in "Work", "Actual Work" cells. I tried to type in "Work" value
directly; still no value in the cell.
The problem happenned only for existing tasks. If I added new tasks; I can
see work value without any problems.

I have removed all the filters and disable auto filter already.
I've got the file from my colleague and I wonder why there are no work and
actual work value in assignment row in Task Usage view.

However, the problem disappeared when I set percent work complete of
completed task to 0% and back to 100%. For in-completed tasks, I remove
resource and reassign resource and the problem also disappear. But this is
quite strange. I use MS Project for 4-5 years and never found the problem
like this.

Do you have any suggestions?
(If possible, I would like to print screen for you to see. But it's not
possible here.)

Dear Dave, Jim

Thank you very much for your kind response.
I agreed with you that the file may be corrupted somehow.
It's the file I got from my friend.
