You should be able to use a circa-1999 PST with OL2003. What settings are
you referring to?

Some old folders that were from 99 and 00 were carried over when I imported
the .pst. I exported her old PST and then imported on the new PC.

Never export or import a PST to use it in another instance of Outlook. Just
reuse it, since the PST is the native file format of Outlook. You don't
export a DOC file to reuse in another person's Word, do you?
