Can one download an evaluation/trial copy of Office2008?

I'd like to try it before purchase but it didn't come on the new iMac recently purchased and I wanted to know if there is an url where one can download the trial version.

not at this time. There was a test drive for Office 2004, so I expect
that a 2008 test drive will be produced at some stage, but I have no
'inside knowledge' to drive that expectation!

I'm afraid no evaluation version of Office 2008 has been made available as
yet. You might keep an eye on the Mactopia site & its link to the MacBU Blog
