Sort of. You can take notes on your PDA and OneNote SP1 will import them
into OneNote. You can't easily get your OneNote notes to go the other way
into the PDA, though.

Ben,

you say you can't get it to go the other way, ie from OneNote to PDA. I use
OneNote 2007 and I have a Windows mobile 6 device. I can get it to sync from
PDA to OneNote, but I would like it the otherway, ie. to sync from OneNote to
PDA. It seems pointless that it works one way and not the other. Is there a
way?

Thanks

OneNote 2007 is a different animal. The article you're quoting below is
from more than 2 years ago, I was talking about OneNote 2003 then. :)

OneNote 2007 includes OneNote Mobile which should (though I haven't tried
it) install and run just fine on your WM6 device and will sync two-way with
OneNote like a champ.

I see what you mean by an 'Animal'. I have now got it working but it doesnot
appear to be a true 2-way sync, but at least I can now get the importand data
I need to my WM6 device. Hopefully at some stage MS will increase the
functionality to make it more usable and configurable.

Many thanks for the help.

It is a good sync but only in a single notebook (the mobile one). Not
across your entire OneNote structure. It's possible that the next version
will be more robust though to some extent the mobile device itself is going
to be a limiting factor. You could pretty easily fill and overwhelm a
mobile device if you had a huge notebook structure.
