Can only add 1 event to calander before error

Outlook accepts when I add 1 new event to the calander,
but when I try to add another event outlook
responds "Microsoft Outlook has encountered a problem and
needs to close". Anybody know why this is or how to fix?
It is a hassel when I try to add multiple new events. I
must close and reopen after each one.

The first thing I would try is the "Detect and Repair" tool.

Open Outlook
Select the HELP menu
Select DETECT AND REPAIR...

You may need your install disk to complete this.

I tried "Detect and Repair" in the past with no luck so I
just tried again...with no luck. Still get the same
message after Detect and repair installed successfully.
Any additional help in this matter would be appreciated.

This doesn't sound normal and I have not encountered
this myself. You may want to try posting this again, but
include the information:
What Outlook Version you are using
What Operating System you are using
What have you tried so far

You may want to try clearing the forms cache.

If you close outlook
Perform a FIND (click on desktop and press <F3>)
(If you are using XP or W2K operating system be
sure to look in hidden files)
Look for FRMCACHE.DAT file.
Delete it from the find window.
Restart Outlook.

When you restart Outlook it will rebuild a fresh new
FRMCACHE.DAT file.
