Can only modify Project Information in PWA 2007

When we used the previous version Project Server 2003, and Project
Professional 2003 we were able to modify the Custom Enterprise Field value in
Project (2003). Now that we have upgraded to Project Server 2007 and Project
Professional 2007 we can only change these values in PWA in Edit Project
Properties window. We had to modify category permissions to allow the editing
in PWA.
The problem is that Project Pro 2007 appears to have changed the values on
Save and Publish but the changes were never updated. We did not receive any
error messages but just appeared as though it had completed the request and
even gave the message your project has been saved and your project has been
published. Once it was saved and published I looked in PWA and the changes
were not present there either.

When I edited the Project Properties in PWA then opened the project with
Project Pro 2007 the changes were accurate in Project as well as in the PWA
view.

Any thoughts, is this a bug?

Yes, it's a bug.

Clear, as in delete, everything in the MS Project 2007 "cache directory" on
each PC. Usual location is:

c:\doucments and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\MS Project\Cache

('username' would be each user's signon name on each PC.)

Anytime you make changes in the Enterprise Global, adding variables, etc.,
just clear the MS Project cache directory. When in doubt, clear the cache.
I put a shortcut to the 'cache' on my desktop. I just automataically clear
it each time I am about to launch MS Project 2007...
