As we know, Project Server could synchronize resource from active directory,
but I want to know could it also synchronize from OpenLDAP with Samba?

Hi Mike,

The AD Synchronization can only happen from Active Directory which is a
Windows Server 200x Domain Controller. However you could use Microsoft
Identity Integration Server to map your Samba LDAP users to Active
Directory users. Then you can synchronize AD to Project Server.

MIIS is a centralized service that stores and integrates identity
information for organizations with multiple directories. It's a very
powerful tool.

Here's a link to the MIIS 2003 Product Overview:

w/default.mspx

Good Luck
