Can Publisher be extracted from 2000 Pro into XP Pro?

I had Office 2000 Pro installed which included MS
Publisher. Unthinkingly, I deleted the Office 2000 Pro
program when I upgraded to Office XP Pro. I didn't
realize at the time that MS Publisher was not included
with the Office XP program. Is there a way to extract
Publisher from my 2000 Pro and have it work with my XP
program?

Don't you install Office 2000 Pro Disc 2, only selecting to install
Publisher and the ClipArt?
