The Manage Deliverables and Manage Dependencies on Deliverables doesn't work with IE8 and causes Project Professional to hang and leaves the users project checked out. There is no scheduled hotfix for this problem as of yet but the issue has been logged with the Project Server development team/IE8 team.

Scot

Hi,

Just to follow up on Gary's email. Besides, the rendering issues, IE8 is also not compatible with the Manage Deliverables and Manage Dependencies on Deliverables in Project Professional. This causes project to crash and leaves the user's project checked out. It also causes the Project Outlook Add-in to crash MS Outlook every time someone replies to an email. I wouldn't install IE8 on any users that use Microsoft Project with Project Server nor users of the MS Outlook add-in.

Regards,

Scot
