Can receive E-mails, but can't send

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Email Client: pop Using my gmail account with Entourage. While in the USA no problem sending or receiving messages. As soon as I go to Mexico, can still receive messages in Entourage, but can't send. I have tried sending in several locations in Mexico, all without success.

it means your SMTP server refuses to let you send from a remote location,
You probably need to use the local SMTP server.
