i currently have a macro running on a document in my network drive. When i
open from my machine i can go in and run it. When somebody else goes to run
it from another machine, the macros are not visible to be run.

Also i have created a button on the menu bar using the customize feature. It
appears and works perfect when i open it from my machine. When someone else
opens it from there machine they cannot see this button

Sounds like you have stored the macro and customization in the normal.dot
template on your PC.
