can see message reply in preview, but nowhere else

I sent a message to a friend, and when she replied all I could see was the
original message I wrote to her (not anything she wrote...), but when I
looked at the 3 line preview, I can see 3 lines of text that she wrote. I
don't know how to get the rest of her message. It is not showing up in the
reading pane. I am only seeing the original message I wrote her. I know
she wrote me, because I see 3 lines if it in the preview pane!

No, unfortunately, it cuts it off mid sentence...it just shows the three full
lines of text and nothing in the reading pane (except my original message).
It's pretty weird. I should probably explain that I have had this problem in
the past...with another email address that I could also check on the
internet, and when I would log on to my email through the internet page, I
could read the text. Unfortunately, my new email doesn't have web-based
capabilities, so I can't read the message that way. Thanks for your help,
though!

Also....this doesn't happen very often. It has only happened with two of my
students writing me from wiscmail.wisc.edu. I am wondering if there is
something weird with the format of the messages. A setting I need to change
or somthing. Thanks a lot!
