I created a new user with Project Server authentication, named My PM.
My PM was assigned to the newly created Just PMs group. My PM has no
rights as a user (all the check boxes are cleared) and no categories
assigned. The Just PMs group was set up with the default Project
Managers security templates.
I created the Only My Projects group and put Just PMs in it. The Only
My Projects group has no projects added to the view. Only the 'Allow
users in this category to view all projects they manage' box checked.
No Resource boxes are checked. They have a few default views for the
Project Center.
When I log in as My PM and navigate to the Project Center, there are
no Projects. But there are 5 To-Do lists, all somewhat old and that
have nothing to do with the brand new user. My PM, in theory, should
see nothing in the Project Center. Is there something in the defaults
that would cause these errors? If not, what can be done to truly only
see the projects My PM manages?
